La Sagrada Familia is a massive Roman Catholic Cathedral. Construction on it began in 1882 and has continued uninterrupted to this day!
You may wonder, as I did, how this constant construction is funded. Tours of the cathedral are a large resource and donations from devout Catholics worldwide keep the construction going.
The detail of the facade is absolutely amazing. Originally designed by Antoni Gaudi (1852 – 1926), who worked on the project for over 40 years, devoted the last 15 years of his life entirely to the endeavor. The project is scheduled to be completed in 2026. On the subject of the extremely long construction period, Gaudà is said to have remarked, "My client is not in a hurry."
Rod, we think working for this construction company is recession proof!! It's a lifer!!

Did you know that Brook has a blog? She added yours to her favorites. I think this is so fun to do. I guess I am just a reader and not a writer myself.
I finally got to see your page and not just the emails. I love the picture of you and Ken and your dad.
